This course designed to introduce the student to techniques and tactics that give them the edge in a lethal force encounter while in or around their vehicle. From what is cover vs. concealment to tactical movement – this class will cover it.

Topics:

  • Learning about and using the cover and concealment that your vehicle offers.
  • Learning to rapidly exit your vehicle and deliver an effective rate of fire. – Learning to deliver an effective rate of fire from within your vehicle.
  • Shooting through windshields, understanding deflection through live fire.
  • Live fire exercises to explore various responses to potential and/or actual assaults.

Location: D&L Armory – Lake Bailee Gun Range – Hamilton, OH

Prerequisites: None.

Equipment:

  • Centerfire Handgun
  • 250 rounds of ammunition minimum. Factory ammunition only – no personal reloads.
  • 2 (+) Spare magazines Spare ammunition pouches, carrier, or magazine holster
  • Quality holster – NO SERPA Holsters
  • Quality belt Ear and wrap around eye protection
  • Gloves
  • Protective cup
  • Clothing suitable for the weather
  • Cap with a brim
  • Rugged shoes or boot

Force Options Course Enrollment & Payment Policy

Full payment is required to hold your seat in a class. Unexpected family emergencies (Deaths, illness, births, etc.) are the only reasons to drop out from a class without penalty. Within thirty days of the class start date there is no refund except as mentioned. Other cancellations are credited towards a future Force Options class and will be handled on a case by case basis. Special Consideration will be taken for deploying military & law enforcement. Force Options presents courses designed for defensive and tactical training. In order to allow you to get the most realistic training possible, our standing policy is NO COMPETITION WEAPONS OR GEAR. Pistol triggers MUST be at least 3.5 lbs with a recommended 5 lbs. Triggers will be tested prior to class. All participants must provide a COMPLETE training application. These applications are good for a period of one year.
