Defensive Shotgun Course.  This is an enjoyable level I course that is perfect for new and experienced shooters alike. We will cover presentation, shooting, reloading, manipulation, and ammunition selection for the shotgun. We will also demonstrate the effective distances for this effective weapon. Most importantly we will address proper technique in managing recoil and help you run the gun fearlessly. This class is designed for defensive applications and will teach you how to utilize it in home defense situations.

Location: D&L Armory – Lake Bailee Gun Range – Hamilton, OH

• Shotgun
• 150 rounds of birdshot
• 50 rounds of buckshot
• 5 slugs
• Side saddle or spare ammunition pouches carrier to reload from
• Sling if possible
• Ear and wrap around eye protection
• Clothing suitable for the weather
• Cap with a brim
• Rugged shoes or boots

Force Options Course Enrollment & Payment Policy

Full payment is required to hold your seat in a class. Unexpected family emergencies (Deaths, illness, births, etc.) are the only reasons to drop out from a class without penalty. Within thirty days of the class start date there is no refund except as mentioned. Other cancellations are credited towards a future Force Options class and will be handled on a case by case basis. Special Consideration will be taken for deploying military & law enforcement. Force Options presents courses designed for defensive and tactical training. In order to allow you to get the most realistic training possible, our standing policy is NO COMPETITION WEAPONS OR GEAR. Pistol triggers MUST be at least 3.5 lbs with a recommended 5 lbs. Triggers will be tested prior to class. All participants must provide a COMPLETE training application. These applications are good for a period of one year.
