This comprehensive 2-day course will cover all components of utilizing a carbine style rifle. The course is open to any carbine style, magazine fed rifle. Students will become familiar with the carbine and will learn basic manipulation skills that are necessary to effectively operate this weapon system. This course will also cover transitions to their handguns as backup.  Students will also learn about nomenclature, disassembly/reassembly, mechanical operation, care & cleaning, preventive maintenance, zeroing iron sights & electronic sights, shooting positions and much more.

  • Students will engage targets from non-standard positions

  • 500 rounds of rifle ammunition minimum. No personal reloads
  • Centerfire Handgun
  • 100 rounds of handgun ammunition. No personal reloads
  • Min. 2 quality rifle magazine
  • Spare ammunition pouches, carrier, or magazine holster
  • Quality handgun holster and magazine carriers – NO SERPA HOLSTERS
  • Quality belt

Force Options Course Enrollment & Payment Policy

Full payment is required to hold your seat in a class. Unexpected family emergencies (Deaths, illness, births, etc.) are the only reasons to drop out from a class without penalty. Within thirty days of the class start date there is no refund except as mentioned. Other cancellations are credited towards a future Force Options class and will be handled on a case by case basis. Special Consideration will be taken for deploying military & law enforcement. Force Options presents courses designed for defensive and tactical training. In order to allow you to get the most realistic training possible, our standing policy is NO COMPETITION WEAPONS OR GEAR. Pistol triggers MUST be at least 3.5 lbs with a recommended 5 lbs. Triggers will be tested prior to class. All participants must provide a COMPLETE training application. These applications are good for a period of one year.
