This course is designed to enhance tactical Pistol skills for personal protection. This course will increase
the student’s proficiency and confidence in his/her ability to effectively engage threats in emerging
situations. Students will undergo pistol marksmanship fundamentals refresher and build into tactical
application skills for engaging single and multiple targets from the draw, using stationary and moving
firing positions.

  • Students will engage targets from non-standard positions
  • Shooting from in and around vehicles
  • Strong and weak hand shooting
  • Employment of cover
  • Execute 2 person drills and other tactical related techniques

Ammunition: We have made arrangements for a local shop to work with students on ammo.   We will liknyou up and they will deliver your ammo on the first morning of class.  No need to travel or hassle with ammo.  Contact us for information

Special Note:  Students will have the opportunity to have their draw and shooting technique digitally recorded and evaluated.  This will take place near the end of the class.  The video will be recorded, technique broken down, then it will be sent to the student digitally.  There will be a small fee of $20 payable at the class should you choose to take part.  Not required.

Defensive Handgun Course: $250

· Handgun
· Hip Holster (NO SERPA HOLSTERS)
· Eye and Ear Protection
· Minimum 1 double magazine pouch
· Minimum of 2 magazines (3 is better)
· 400 rounds of ammo (no personal reloads)
· Suitable range wear depending on the season
· Water and any snacks needed
· Hat




Force Options Course Enrollment & Payment Policy

Full payment is required to hold your seat in a class. Unexpected family emergencies (Deaths, illness, births, etc.) are the only reasons to drop out from a class without penalty. Within thirty days of the class start date there is no refund except as mentioned. Other cancellations are credited towards a future Force Options class and will be handled on a case by case basis. Special Consideration will be taken for deploying military & law enforcement. Force Options presents courses designed for defensive and tactical training. In order to allow you to get the most realistic training possible, our standing policy is NO COMPETITION WEAPONS OR GEAR. Pistol triggers MUST be at least 3.5 lbs with a recommended 5 lbs. Triggers will be tested prior to class. All participants must provide a COMPLETE training application. These applications are good for a period of one year.
