Defensive Tactics Instructor Certification Course
3 - 5 day Program

This program is designed to meet the growing need for skilled defensive tactics instructors in both the law enforcement and military arenas. Upon completion of the course you will be awarded the title of Certified Defensive Tactics Instructor and be listed as such with the International Martial Arts Council of America - Law Enforcement Division. This is a complete course covering everything from use of force to handcuffing and SWAT applications. Advanced Officer Survival
2 day Program

This class will explore a variety of subjects all based around the idea of improving an officer's ability to survive an attack while on patrol. This will be a hands on class in which each officer will be paired up to practice as well as be at the receiving end of technique. These are tried and tested techniques that are effective for officers of all sizes and abilities. Some of the areas we will work on are: * Using the attacker's energy * Defending against grabs * Defending against punches and kicks * Retaining weapons in the holster * Non-traditional stunning strikes

Joint Controls and Escort Techniques
1 day Program

In this class you will learn a wide variety of simple and out of the box effective techniques to aid in controlling non-compliant subjects. Each technique is designed to be used by all officers regardless of size and strength. From simple finger locks to ground pins, you will be exposed to a variety of techniques.

Practical Ground Defense
1 day Program

In this class we will explore and practice a wide variety of techniques that will help you learn to maintain your ability to control a subject even if on the ground. These techniques are based on using your entire body as a tool, which allows officers of all sizes and abilities to have equal success. We will work in the following areas:

• Maintaining /gaining control of subject
• Joint immobilizations
• Countering joint locks
• Chokes
• Body locks
• Defending against a standing attacker while on the ground

Advanced Edged Weapon Defense
1 day Program

One of the biggest dangers officers face is edged weapons. Remember, the vest is bullet proof, not knife proof. In this class we will work on effective and simple techniques to disarm attackers. This, as with all classes, is based on using your entire body as a tool of defense. This allows all officers to enjoy the same success regardless of their size. We will work defenses against a variety of attacks. You will participate both as defender and attacker.

Advanced Expandable Baton
1 day Program

The ASP style baton has uses far beyond what most officers are aware. In this class we will explore and practice a variety of simple and extremely effective techniques that can be used by ANY officer. These techniques are designed to give officers an alternative to using the baton as a striking weapon.

Advanced Gun Defense
1 day Program

This course will cover the fundamental tools an officer needs in order to effectively defend themselves from a gun. From principles of motions to angles of attack, this class will equip the officer with essential survival skills. This course is a must for all law-enforcement professionals and could literally mean the difference between life and death.

Advanced Weapon Retention
1 day Program

There are people that actually practice techniques to take an officer's weapon. You must counter this by training yourself in methods of retaining your weapon. All techniques taught in this class are simple and very effective. They are based on movement of your center of balance and are equally effective for smaller as well as larger officers. We will work on both holstered weapon retention as well as drawn weapon retention.

Practical / Tactical Handcuffing
1 day Program

This course will cover fundamental handcuffing techniques as well as unique and effective modifications to age old technique. From compliant subjects to combative subjects, we will teach techniques to cover them all.

Monadnock Expandable Baton Certification
1 day Program

The Basic MEB Course consists of a 4-hour (minimum) user level program. Basic Course certification techniques include: stance, patterns of movement, baton grip, baton methods of carry, baton draws, baton two-handed grip blocks, baton counter strikes, and baton retention. This is a well-rounded training approach that provides officer protection at three specific ranges for concluding an attack.

OC / Pepper Spray Certification
1 day Program

This program is designed to "Train and Certify" law enforcement, corrections, sheriffs, constables, and security personnel in the safe, correct, and legal use of OC. This training teaches an officer how to use OC in a safe and reliable manner. After successful completion of both practical and written tests, the officer is certified in its proper use for a two (2) year period.
