Firearm Courses

Tactical Handgun

This course is designed to create reflexive gun handling, improved marksmanship and tactical mindset. This course covers shooting from a ready position, and from the holster, shooting from various tactical body positions, loading, unloading and reloading, malfunction clearances, shooting on the move, moving targets, dim light and flashlight shooting.

CQB Handgun

This course builds on our Tactical Handgun course and will teach the student how to deal with close quarter shooting. You will learn rapid deployment techniques including speed rock and tactical movement. The course will cover principles and drills designed to improves your skills in close quarter gunfighting.

Tactical Shotgun

This course covers the tactical use of the shotgun. It covers the tactical skills necessary to successfully operate a shotgun in a hostile environment and combines it with a vast array of advanced shooting and manipulation techniques. Students will hone their skills to a razor’s edge in this challenging course. Students can expect to see dramatic increases in their speed, accuracy, and manipulation techniques during this course.

CQB Shotgun

This course builds on our Tactical shotgun course and will teach the student how to deal with close quarter shooting. You will learn rapid deployment techniques including speed loads and tactical movement. The course will cover principles and drills designed to improves your skills in close quarter gunfighting.

Tactical Carbine

This course is designed to instruct the individual in the safe handling of their chosen carbine.  This course will include detailed classroom instruction and practical application with a crawl, walk, run process.  Subjects covered will be the appropriate mindset, mental awareness levels, equipment selection, weapon handling, shooting stances and positions, malfunction drills, multiple target engagement, shooting under self induced and exterior induced stress, tactical decision making drills utilizing various types of cover and barricades and the conduct of safe weapons range fire. More advanced skills will be learned and the basic skills will be reinforced with various shooting drills and situations.

CQB Carbine

This course will teach effective techniques and principles for using a carbine as a close quarter fighting weapon. We will cover modified shooting positions, CQB weapon retention as well as fire and movement in close quarters.

Precision Rifle Introduction

Intermediate level class for the bolt action or semi-auto rifle equipped with optics. PR I includes improvised shooting positions, the use of cover and supports, shooter movement and drills stressing various tactics and techniques for field use of the rifle. Ranges are within 100 yds which is typical for hunting or LE application.

Advanced Precision Rifle

This course is intended for the duty sniper or the rifleman who wants to learn about advanced aspects of weapon-craft. In this course you will be exposed to the fundamentals of field craft, and will learn to make first round hits with your weapons system at unknown distances out to 800 yards. You will learn the exterior and terminal ballistics of your weapons system. If so equipped, you will learn to use the mildot reticle and other instruments specific to the mission profile of the military precision marksman. You’ll put these elements to work in several scenarios, including field exercises. This is a physically and mentally demanding class, but at the end of the course, you’ll be amply prepared to take the field as a precision marksman.
