Defensive Handgun Course

Force Options will be presenting a Defensive Handgun course. This course is designed for novice and intermediate students. This one day course is designed to familiarize the student with the fundamentals of handguns as well as the principles of defensive shooting. You will acquire all the essential self-defense skills with the handgun in a safe and supportive environment. You will learn gun safety, marksmanship, gun-handling and combat mindset during this fantastic course. Additionally, you will participate in a shoot house and mobile shooting drills. This is the perfect class for anyone interested in learning more about handguns in a safe and encouraging format.

You Will Need

• Handgun (any caliber will do)
• Eye and ear protection
• 300 rounds of ammunition
• Water for the day
• Holster and magazine pouch
• At least 2 magazines (preferably 3)
• Hat

This class will be conducted Southwest of the Valley in a safe but rural area. Please come prepared as if you would be hiking in an undeveloped area for the day. This includes water, snacks, lunch, and any other items you would need.

Prerequisites and Qualifications

1. You must not have any felony convictions nor be under incitement for such charge.
2. You must not have legal restrictions against your possession and use of a firearm.
3. You must be at least 18 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 21 years old.
4. No students under 16

Registration

Students must be registered no later than April 15th, 2008. Course size is limited to 20 so please register early to avoid missing a slot in the course.
